      As a Crutchfield Technical Support Specialist, you will:

      • Provide technical support to customers who have purchased product from Crutchfield.
      • Engage our customers with a calm, interested and professional demeanor.
      • Help customers understand and utilize their equipment.
      • Troubleshoot technical or product issues (for both home and car equipment). This involves diagnosing problems, offering solutions, and/or providing step-by-step instructions to help customers resolve their issues.
      • Actively listen to the customer to determine their needs, and paraphrasing, to clarify.


      Qualifications:

      • Passion for customer service and exceptional interpersonal skills.
      • Previous customer service, retail, restaurant and/or a background in electronic (and other related fields) along with DIY experience is recommended but not required.
      • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and basic math skills.
      • Ability and willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
      • Proficient computer skills.
      • Highly self-motivated
      • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through phone, email, and chat.
      • Ability to maintain a consistent work schedule that will include working 1 weekend day per week
      • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus


      Training:

      If you don't know everything about electronics, no worries. Every new team of Technical Support Specialists receives 10 weeks of paid, hands-on training with an experienced Tech Trainer before working with customers independently. Our next training class is scheduled to begin September 8th, 2025.



      Salary and Benefits:

      The starting pay is $18.04/hour, with potential for a performance-based bonus of up to $300 every three months. This full-time position comes with a comprehensive benefit package including health two health insurance plans to choose from along with dental and vision insurance plan options.       Onsite and Remote Work:

      Our new Technical Support Specialists will be trained onsite in Norton, VA, but after training you will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule which allows 2 days working from home and 3 days working onsite per week. All remote work must be done within the Commonwealth of Virginia to qualify for a hybrid schedule.
