What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical support for all product lines
- Serve as the initial point of contact for customer technical support requests
- Document all activities in established databases
- Support training and field service activities as required
- Escalate difficult situations and provide recommendations to the leadership team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/G.E.D and 1-2 years trade school in HVAC/R or related areas
- 7 or more years experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R industry
- Type II EPA certification for handling and reclamation of refrigerants
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and equipment specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, German, French, or Italian
- Experience in BMS Controls (BACnet & Modbus RTU)
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and controls diagrams
- Previous experience in a customer service role within the HVAC/R industry
