Deliver high-impact training to U.S. Navy personnel on newly deployed AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 configurations using classroom lectures, simulation systems, and shipboard instruction (including occasional at-sea assignments).
Stay current with system upgrades, procedural updates, and technical documentation to ensure training remains accurate and effective.
Evaluate and refine instructional methodologies and tools to enhance program performance and learning outcomes.
Contribute to curriculum development and training system implementation, including live activation and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) support.
Leverage innovative technologies and collaborate with peers to maintain excellence in training delivery across evolving mission needs.
Travel up to 25% may be required.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 2+ years (additional education/experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
Minimum 8+ years of operational or maintenance experience on the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 or similar systems, ideally with exposure to ACB13/15/17/19.
V55B NEC qualification required
Demonstrated excellence in communication, instruction, and technical documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 system.
Clearance: US Citizenship required to start with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance within 90 days of hire date.
Navy Journeyman Instructor (NEC 805A/9502 or equivalent).
Situational Awareness Workstation Operator (SAWO) training and NEC V94B qualification.
Master Training Specialist (MTS) designation and experience with Navy curriculum development.
Ability to obtain or possess a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance and valid U.S. passport (required within 90 days of hire).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
