What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain Maintenance Technical Publications in accordance with company standards and customer requirements
- Acquire subject knowledge by interviewing product developers and referring to technical specifications
- Prepare illustrative materials such as 3-D models, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts
- Perform quality review of material and compile quality metrics
- Coordinate S1000D IETM development activities and technical publications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
- 3 years of professional experience in technical writing
- Experience with S1000D and Engineering drawings/blueprints
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with XML, SGML, and technical authoring languages
- Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and lean business processes
- Experience with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals and 3D Models
