What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with product owners, engineers, solutions architects, and data analysts to gather information through interviews and strategy sessions
- Develop high-quality technical documentation, including information architectures and training modules
- Create standards and best practice guides for implementing telemetry in live environments
- Collaborate with other technical writers to promote documentation excellence and compliance
- Contribute to the design and improvement of documentation management processes and standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of technical writing experience in the tech or games industry
- Extensive experience working with engineering teams to document processes and best practices for software systems
- Ability to learn highly technical products quickly
- Strong interviewing skills to effectively gather information from engineers and analysts
- Champion of fundamental technical writing principles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field
- Experience working in the games industry
- Familiarity with data analytics and governance concepts
- Understanding of data visualization tools and AI/ML use cases in gaming
- Experience with source control systems and platforms like Notion, Git, JIRA, and Google Suite
