Job Description
- Req#: 13046
- Assist in coordinating the setup of injection molding machines, molds, materials, and processes under the direct supervision of the shift leader.
- Perform machine startups and troubleshoot issues related to the molding process and auxiliary equipment while optimizing complex injection molding processes using various resins.
- Provide expertise in injection molding regarding materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform 6 step study on all molds and then proceeding with full qualifications for production use.
- Draft, route, and implement documents through SAP for various equipment for production use.
- Understand various materials and mechanical designs.
- Experience using computer-aided design software such as SolidWorks, spreadsheets, scheduling programs, and word processing.
- Communicate effectively with all relevant parties regarding manufacturing floor issues while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
