      Technician Espu II Sanitation Operator – Full Time, 1st Shift

      Position Summary:

      The Technician Espu II is responsible for individual equipment that is associated with the cleaning process in the production rooms.


      WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

      · Follows daily work instructions from the lead, supervisor and Manager and performs duties in a timely manner.

      · Operates production equipment (sauce tanks, CIP, mixers, sheeting lines, conveyors, proofers, and freezers) to ensure proper cleanliness.

      · Ensures that the sanitation and production equipment is inspected before and after cleaning.

      · Ensures that the sanitation of equipment, machinery and rooms in production are acceptable.

      · Ensures proper communication and assists in pre-ops and changeovers between shifts.

      · Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.

      · Reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to Management.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      · High School Diploma or GED preferred.

      · Three (3) to six (6) months of related experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred.



      YOU’RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:

      · Ability to work overtime, irregular hours or rotating shifts.

      · Ability to minimally speak and write in English.

      · Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and policy and procedure manuals.

      · Ability to use tools and perform minor repairs as needed.

      · Ability to convey standard information in written and verbal form.

      · Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides.

      · Ability to take measurements appropriately.

      · Ability to effectively communicate to appropriate personnel.

      · Ability to operate sanitation equipment.

      · Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
