Job Description

Fabricate, maintain, and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices, according to prescription specifications and under guidance of a prosthetist.
Tests device for freedom of movement, alignment of parts, and biomechanical stability. Complete work orders as assigned.
Maintenance of all equipment and tools in the lab.
Maintain and clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School diploma
One to three years of experience in an industrial setting
Experience working in a machine shop, construction or auto repair preferred
Able to work overtime
This position is responsible for the fabrication, service and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; squat; bend; reach; pull; and push with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Work Environment
This job operates in a lab environment.
