Job Description
Apply to join the BAE Systems, Inc. Aviation Solution Division team as a production and installation technician. The selected candidate modifies, fabricates and builds equipment and subassemblies working from layout diagrams, schematics, wire prints, and verbal instructions. Will install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair avionics equipment, such as radar, radio, navigation, and wiring harness applications systems in specific aircraft.
Tasks will typically be performed within full-scale production manufacturing operations and include tasks such as production electronic, mechanical, electromechanical assembly: quality assurance and reliability testing following established methods and procedures: production scheduling and control: and coordinating, planning, and expediting the flow of material, parts, and assemblies. Must have the ability to obtain job-specific or specialized certification programs required for core tasks or specialized assignments. Will assist facility personnel with production area build-out and program related operational technician duties.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
