      As an integral member of the Laboratory team the Technician V (Advanced Laboratory Technician) performs a variety of support functions under a medical directive.

      In accordance with Laboratory Licensing Regulation 682, under a medical directive, this team member performs laboratory tests that require select technical skill and responsibilities and which require limited scope interpretation, assessment and the exercise of independent judgement and critical appraisal, as defined by the clinical discipline.
