Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer. This position’s primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best-practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Dallas, TX or Salt Lake City, UT or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience working in Application Development, support, maintenance and analysis in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, any RDBMS (Oracle/Sybase/DB2/SQL Server/Postgresql).
• Hands-On Development and analysis skills are mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience in Technical Analyst role.
• At least 4 years of experience in Java & Database ( Sybase ASE or SQL Server)
• At least 2 years of experience in frontend technologies ( ReactJS, Angular )
• At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• At least 1 years of experience in project scoping, estimation and scheduling
• At least 1 year of experience in Java Microservices development
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks and design principals
• Basic domain knowledge in Capital Markets and Finance
• Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
