      Job Title: Technology Coordinator Reports to: Director of Technology Dept/Campus: Technology Pay Grade: Administrative/Professional PG 4 Wage Status: Exempt Days: 240 Primary Purpose: Provide comprehensive technical support for eSchoolPlus, Teacher Access Center, Home Access Center, PowerSchool Enrollment Online Registration, Schoology, MAP, Performance Matters, and attendance intervention systems. Troubleshoot issues for various user groups across the district and manage staff accounts. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of PowerSchool Enrollment, including account management, form development, communication with parents and campuses, website updates, and ensuring accurate delivery of student registration records, while providing training and support to district staff and addressing parent inquiries. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the district attendance intervention system, including staff account management, letter development, providing technical support and training, ensuring accurate attendance records, and managing work orders and support tickets. Develop training materials for district-wide technology programs, ensuring effective utilization and user proficiency. Oversee the training and development of all campus Attendance Clerks/Registrars, including creating and delivering training materials, organizing monthly meetings, and providing ongoing support for daily registration, scheduling, and attendance inquiries. Additionally, manage account creation, permissions, and technical support for Schoology, MAP, and other district-wide programs. Responsible for developing and delivering all comprehensive district technology communication and training materials for district-wide programs. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of computer applications Strong staff development skills Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong customer service skills Ability to multi-task and problem solve quickly Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to analyze and interpret data Experience: Classroom teacher or campus staff experience preferred eSchool Plus/TAC/HAC experience preferred Schoology experience preferred PowerSchool Enrollment experience preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for overseeing Teacher Access Center (TAC), Home Access Center (HAC), eSchool Plus, PowerSchool Enrollment, and the district attendance intervention accounts, daily support, training, and management. Oversee Attendance Clerk/Registrar team, providing training, materials, and daily support. District Wide Technology Communication between the Technology department and campuses Develop training materials for district-wide technology programs, ensuring effective utilization and user proficiency. Additionally develop, support, and provide training on district wide applications, including but not limited to Google Mail, Calendar, Sites, Drive and Forms; PowerSchool Home Access Center, Enrollment Online Registration, Teacher Access Center, eSchool Plus, Performance Matters, Unified Home Communications, Schoology, Unified Insights and Professional Learning; Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), MAP. Information Management Coordinate and participate in training of district staff in areas including but not limited to attendance, discipline, gradebook and leaver coding. Serve as the district’s point of contact for all issues related to teacher and parent access to eSchool, PowerSchool Enrollment and Unified Home Communication. Assist in the timely and accurate reporting of all district student data. Assist schools and administrative departments to develop and implement plans to address technology needs relating to attendance, grade reporting, testing, scheduling, demographic data, and other student information. Assist with the implementation of staff development in the area of information management; make presentations as needed. Support the Director for Computer Services as needed in the Public Education Information Management process. Policy, Reports, and Law Implement the policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy in the area of information management and instructional technology. Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required. Apply district records retention policies to all district computerized records in the student area. Personnel Management Develop training options and improvement plans to ensure exemplary operations in the information services area. Coordinate campus attendance clerks/registrars in areas of on-line registration. Assist elementary counselors on scheduling all students at the beginning of the school year. Other Attend professional growth activities to keep abreast of innovations in information management and technology services. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis. Incumbent is on call to provide support services during off hours. Periodically scheduled night and weekend work is required. Learned physical skill is required for keyboarding and use of peripheral equipment. Employees carry out system and network administration functions independently, with a sound understanding of the interactions between hardware, operating system software and network operations and the design and administrative requirements to ensure an efficient, reliable, secure infrastructure. The employee is expected to bring projects to conclusion, including development of operating procedures, instruction, and training, and required documentation. Work is performed, and technical decisions made with some latitude for independent judgment. Regularly perform multiple, highly complex tasks with a need to periodically upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions and compliance with legal guidelines.
