The Perkiomen Valley School District is seeking a Technology Data Specialist (PIMS Administrator or similar). This is a full-time, 12-month position available on or around December 1, 2024.
Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, this person facilitates collection, analysis and reporting of data from various district sources which includes serving as the district's PIMS Administrator. This position will also be responsible for supporting various district applications and developing new applications and procedures as needed.
Terms of Employment
1. Full-Time; 12 months
Compensation
A regionally competitive salary based on experience and educational level and in accordance with the terms of the Perkiomen Valley Non-Union Support Group Compensation Plan
Education and Training
High School Diploma required; Bachelor degree preferred. Five (5) years professional experience supporting and managing data systems, preferred. Advanced training or experience in supporting or creating data applications.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented person who can organize and prioritize workload; able to complete assignments with a high degree of organization, accuracy and thoroughness. Advanced knowledge of current technology including Google and Microsoft Suite. Knowledge of Student Information Systems. Must have the ability to communicate and interact with a varied public, both in person, electronically and on the telelphone. Position requires a high level of confidentiality for the maintenance of employee data and student records.
