Where you can fit in Technology Innovation :
A rtificial I ntelligence (AI) - The Artificial Intelligence R&D Group is focused on applied research in AI & Machine Learning. We focus on cooperative intelligence: how to design AI systems that will work cooperatively with people and apply human knowledge at scale, including knowledge-driven ML, explainable AI, conversational AI and intelligent privacy. Through leading-edge AI techniques, Accenture Labs R&D discovers new ways to solve business’ biggest challenges.
Bioinformatics - The Bioinformatics R&D Group is at the forefront of applied research in genomics, proteomics, and computational biology. We emphasize collaborative intelligence: our objective is to design systems and tools that synergize with the expertise of life sciences researchers, bridging the gap between biology and computational analysis. Our research areas include knowledge-driven genomic analysis, data interpretation in molecular biology, systems biology modeling, and advanced sequencing data analytics. Leveraging cutting-edge bioinformatics techniques, our team innovates novel solutions to address the most pressing challenges in the life sciences sector.
Cybersecurity - The Security R&D Group works with existing and emerging technologies with complicated security threat landscapes to help our clients better defend the enterprise. We build novel capabilities that help probe, detect, and defend complex systems from attackers and exploitation and work with the leading groups to bring those capabilities to our engagements. The Accenture Cyber Labs in DC specializes in topics on applied research in AI & ML Security, Application Security, Cloud Security, and Quantum Computing
Digital Experiences (DE) - The Digital Experiences R&D Group applies immersive experiences and other pioneering technology to elevate customer and employee engagement. The primary purpose of our applied research is to address important business problems by transforming the way people interact with technology in various facets of their lives including: the way connected workers team with machines on the job; the way retail customers experience a digitally-enhanced buying experience; and the way smart products can improve the way consumers live . In these contexts, we explore the impact of extended reality, crowdsourcing, physical and virtual robots, and more .
F uture T echnologies (FT) – The Future Technologies R&D Group explores the intersection of computing and other rapidly advancing disciplines to enable a new generation of smart products and services at the edge . We have backgrounds in human computer interaction, material science, neuroscience, biology, chemistry, computer science and artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, and other disciplines. Our research focuses on creating smart and sustainable environments, new advanced manufacturing techniques, neurorobotics and other applications of neuromorphic computing , energy harvesting and storage and biotechnology and biocomputing.
Next Generation Robotics (NGR) – The Next Generation Robotics R&D group delves deep into the transformative realm of robotic technologies, operating beyond traditional manufacturing environments. With a diverse team hailing from fields of computer science, artificial intelligence, marine biology, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, and beyond, we're charting the course of robots in the wild. Our emphasis spans from AGVs and AMRs to intricate bipeds, underwater explorers, high-flying drones, and space-based automata. We're not just developing robots; we're reshaping societal perspectives on expanding automation, heralding a new era where machines play a pivotal role in shaping our world's future.
Next Generation Computing (NGC) - The Next Generation Computing Group focuses on delivering cutting-edge computational solutions to challenging problems in the modern business landscape.
