Assist with the daily operational and project requirements of the data organization by conducting thorough data analysis and research utilizing Microsoft SQL.

Contribute to the construction, testing, and documentation of data pipelines, integrations, ETL processes, and data management solutions within the enterprise data environment.

Develop a proof of concept for an AI or data science application that showcases advanced data techniques and demonstrates potential impact on business processes.

Support monitoring and optimization of data processes through development of Power BI reports, SQL queries, data quality tool expansion, or other technologies identified.

The Technology intern will become familiar with the Technology support process and procedures, be introduced to Holiday Inn Club Vacations Technology standards and methods and participate in support activities for the Technology department. Interns will be assigned to development projects within the Technology department for the duration of the internship. Interns will be coached and mentored throughout the program and will be required to attend weekly meetings, training and events.

REQUIREMENTS:
Capacity to work with large amounts of data, extract relevant information and draw logical conclusions.
Strong verbal and written communications skills to effectively share findings with stakeholders and IT associates.
Candidate must have an open mind when it comes to approaching and be able to assess each situation separately.
Ability to manage assigned tasks and expectations with minimal direct instruction.
Candidate should have an analytical mindset with the ability to analyze problems from different perspectives and use creativity to solve problems and proactively recommend solutions.
Ability to pay attention to detail when working with data to make accurate conclusions and predications.
Fast, adaptable learner who can hit the ground running.
Ability to work well under pressure while demonstrating strong professionalism.
Must be able to collaborate closely with a team at times, while also being capable of holding themselves accountable to meet individual deadlines with minimal supervision.
