      Job Title- Data Tribe | Cloud IT Application Owner

      Location- Pune (India)

      Role Description

      Our Technology Data and Innovation (TDI) teams are responsible for the bank's complete information technology (IT) infrastructure as well as for developing, implementing and protecting the software required to support the bank's entire business.       The Data tribe is part of TDI Private Bank Germany and covers the complete data value chain, including not only the mobilization, integration, enrichment and storage of data. Furthermore it provides tools, services and data analytics to enable new use cases, business capabilities and directly creates value for Deutsche Bank.

      Data products enable reaching strategic goals in driving the cloud move of complex BI infrastructure, reducing the number of warehouses, simplifying our architecture and bringing down costs, while at the same time developing cutting edge data technology like automated near time machine learning processes.

      The ITAO for Data Tribe is the custodian of the application and is responsible to apply and enable during Life-Cycle of the application the IT policies and procedures with specific consideration to IT management and Information Security. The ITAO ensures a clear separation of the responsibility within the project, aimed at achieving a safe and secure running of the application and compliance to regulations, policies and standards. ITAO is responsible for application documentation, application infrastructure reliability and compliance, and is usually the IT SPOC for audit initiatives.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Ensure/follow-up structural availability, stability and performance of the applications in your domain (PRD, UAT, SIT);
      • Organize L3 support for the application, with development teams;
      • Ensure policy-compliance for the application, identify and own projects necessary to ensure policy-compliance (e.g. security monitoring);
      • Manage the technical roadmap of the application (technology roadmap compliance), estimate/budget capacity needed;
      • Participate in Domain Expert Meetings and in cost estimates of projects (including Run The Bank, also total application cost);
      • Define non-functional requirements and ensure that project teams apply these in projects;
      • Validate deliverables for all projects/changes that run through the application, e.g. test plans, analysis documents;
      • Ensure availability of all necessary application/service knowledge and documentation
      • Closely work with the Audit Teams and avoid any Delays or Escalations related to Non-compliance
      • Also responsible for Access and other Infrastructure related topics.

      Your skills and experience

      • You know ITIL standards.
      • Extensive knowledge on one of the public cloud – GCP, Azure, AWS
      • Skills utilizing Jenkins, Teamcity, Ansible
      • Extensive experience building CICD pipelines using Jenkins and Openshift / Kubernetes
      • In-depth knowledge of source-control preferably git, bitbucket
      • Working knowledge of environment monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Geneos, AppDynamics, New Relic
      • Knowledge of infrastructure as Code - Terraform
      • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
      • Basic exposure to delivering good quality code within enterprise scale development
      • Good hands-on on cloud security and operations
      • Knowledge gained in Financial Services environments
      • Experience and practical knowledge of database systems and database structures; at least experience to work with one of the following database technologies: Relational, Document, Key-Value.
      • Experience in managing (large-scale) structured and unstructured data.
      • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux
      • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking.
      • Excellent communication skills, strong independence and initiative, ability to work in agile delivery teams.
      • Good communication and experience in working with distributed teams (especially Germany + India)
      • Knowledge about ETL processes in the DWH environment / Data Lake and how to automate them.
