- Ensure Edrington’s BI capabilities securely and responsibly meet business demand.
- Contribute to Business Intelligence projects using Agile methodologies.
- Develop and maintain an adequate infrastructure to ease access of information to a community of business data analysts.
- Help create and manage data pipelines to ease access to information.
- Establish best practices for development, exploration, and production infrastructure.
- Enable growth through the application of Business Intelligence, policies, standards, and procedures and ensure best practice sharing across teams.
- Support development and communication of our Business Intelligence governance principles.
- Continuous upskilling through conference, publications, courses, and/or academia.
- Ideally you hold a master’s degree (desirable) or similar qualification in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or related quantitative field such as economics, engineering of physics. Demonstrable experience in more than one area is strongly preferred
- Experience working in Information Technology providing support, identifying solutions, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Experience with enterprise BI solutions, including Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft azure.
- Experience implementing and developing technical solutions, ideally in an Agile environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Azure is highly desirable
- Technical knowledge of Azure Data Factory and SQL for relational databases is desirable
- Must be knowledgeable, highly motivated, self-driven and be confident in working with a wide range of people as well as broad experiences of working within different environments
- Demonstrate a track record of delivering key innovative projects, gaining the respect of stakeholders at all levels in a complex organisational structure
- Exhibit superior presentation skills, including storytelling and other techniques to guide, influence, and inspire
- Excellent written and oral communication & presentation skills

The Technology Product Analyst - BI is a key role contributing to Edrington’s Enterprise Business Intelligence capabilities. The role is an integral part of a team dedicated to progressing our Enterprise BI capability, empowering every individual in the organisation to use data-insights to make better-informed decisions. It involves a mixture of analysis, project leading and technical skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and confidently – often working closely with senior stakeholders, utilising agile and responsive approaches to solution delivery. This role will work in close collaboration with various functions and areas across Edrington, implementing our strategic BI initiatives, providing technical support that balances risk and demand, enabling our communities of business data analysts, and educating business stakeholders on our BI policies and ways of working.
