      Citi’s Functions Technology is responsible for delivering Technology solutions to Citi's Functions organizations. Functions Technology mission is to optimize Citi's Technology environment by delivering world class applications, driving standardization of the production environment, reducing complexity, optimizing management of systems supporting global functions such as Compliance, Controls, Internal Audit and Risk, and introducing innovative technologies that provide new business capabilities, reduce the technology total cost of ownership, and create a competitive advantage for Citi.

      Internal Audit Technology team is looking for a collaborative, team-focused, knowledgeable Technology Product Owner with phenomenal interpersonal skills. This is an intermediate-level role that works closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to elicit, specify and prioritizes requirements aligned to the overall product vision for delivering key functionalities for end-to-end solutions to business.


      Responsibilities:

      • Strong data analysis capabilities (SQL, dashboards)
      • Experience working on AI/ML-integrated products (e.g., Gen AI, predictive analytics) a plus.
      • Workflow automation and complex business process design experience, a plus
      • Develop a deep understanding of the clients’ needs, both from a business and technology perspective, and translate them into product features.
      • Act as a bridge between Business and Engineering Teams, ensuring clear communication of Product requirements and deliver them in iterations following an Agile Methodology.
      • Work closely with Product Manager, Product Owners, Business stakeholders and Engineering team to build and prioritize the requirements backlog.
      • Own and manage the Product backlog, create and refine Epics & User stories, acceptance criteria, and drive prioritization of user stories based on business value.
      • Prepare for and execute Quarterly Planning ensuring that all epics and stories are properly created, refined, ranked, pointed, and coordinated with all cross-stream dependencies for delivery.
      • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to build user-friendly product features with optimized user experience through business process flow, user journey map and UI wireframe creation.
      • Work in an Agile environment, driving sprints and releases ensuring timely delivery of product features with high quality.
      • Partner with Scrum masters, Engineering teams, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth sprint execution.
      • Adapt to change, anticipate and manage risk, remove impediments and accelerate time-to-market.
      • Get user feedback on Product features to refine the backlog with an aim to improve customer experience.

      Qualifications:

      • 6-8 years overall experience in business analysis with 3+ years of relevant experience as an Agile Product Owner, or other product-focused role delivering end-to-end solutions for enterprise applications, preferably in a financial institution.
      • Successful track record of developing and delivering products within deadlines and commitments in a fast-paced environment.
      • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and team members to drive collaboration and alignment.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex business problems to articulate requirements describing process & data flows, functional requirements, user interactions and technical solutions with attention to detail.
      • Experience working with users and UX teams to develop user journey maps, wireframes and mock-ups to drive UI/UX design discussions.
      • Expertise with MS Office and agile tools suites including Atlassian JIRA, Confluence or similar.
      • Agile Product Owner certifications, SAFe certification a plus.
      • Previous experience working in a multinational financial institution, Internal Audit or Risk Management experience a plus.

      Education:

      • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree a plus.
