What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate, monitor, and maintain cloud-based PaaS environments
- Assess current workloads and lead re-architecture efforts to adopt PaaS and serverless services
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and infrastructure changes
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform-related incidents and issues
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure secure deployment and operation of PaaS workloads
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field); Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 12-15 years of related experience, including 8 years of demonstrated ability in technology areas
- 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or site reliability engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with PaaS solutions on one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong background in DevOps practices, automation, and container orchestration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator/DevOps, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Experience in high-availability, distributed systems
- Background in security operations or cloud compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
