      Telecom OSS Architect

      Telecom OSS Architect to Design and implement tailored OSS solutions, including system integration, workflow automation, and data management strategies.

      Conduct in-depth analysis of existing OSS systems, processes, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization

      Driving Automation capabilities across Assurance, Fulfilment and Service Management pillars ensuring that the Automation roadmap underpins Zero touch operations strategy.

      Defining operating process flows illustrating strategic OSS applications and integrations to drive optimised usage and effective implementations. Developing OSS Transformation Plan and supporting RFI/RFP’s. Leading Proof of Concept / Trial activities to validate new OSS capability.

      Key skills/experience

      Experience working with customers/vendors and have a good understanding of the OSS Telco product portfolio, general OSS architectural principles, processes, technology and overall application engineering.

      Good knowledge of mobile telecommunications networking technologies – RAN, Core, IP Transport / SDN, Fibre, Broadband, WAN, Ethernet etc. …….

      A key part of this role also requires applicants to have working experience with Cloud Infrastructure being familiar with Telco Cloud (VNF/CNF), On Prem IT Cloud and Public Cloud implementations and associated vendors / cloud providers.

      A Good knowledge of process mapping / customer journey mapping across Assurance, Fulfilment, Planning & Inventory and Service Management domains is highly beneficial.

      Strong consultative skills to accurately capture stakeholder needs to define technical requirements is a must.

      Proven experience in requirements and analysis, project planning, solution design, software design, development, and deployment.

      Experience with one or more of the service management tools like BMC Remedy, network monitoring tools like Zabbix, dashboard like Grafana, BI tools for reporting, ITSM for change, problem and incident management.

      Experience of handling alarms from NMS/EMS systems via API notifications, SNMP, Kafka Pub/Sub, etc.

      Well versed with Service order orchestration, activation and inventory management systems.

      Demonstrate problem solving, solution expertise and active listening skills

      Possess good communication, collaboration and presentation skills.

      Be customer centric and solution orientated.

      Telecom BSS Architect

      Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect with experience in the Telecom domain and expertise in order management systems. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and scalable solutions that align with our organization's order management processes and support our telecom services. Your knowledge and technical leadership will contribute to the successful delivery of exceptional customer experiences

      • Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust solution designs. Develop end-to-end architectural designs that align with the organization's product offering catalog and meet customer needs.
      • Product Offering Catalog Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of product offering catalog systems in the telecom domain. Leverage your knowledge to design solutions that integrate with the catalog, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information and service provisioning. This includes understanding the product offering catalog requirements, such as defining the product structure, pricing models, promotional campaigns, and integrating with other systems.
      • System Integration: Define integration strategies and design scalable and efficient solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing systems, such as billing, customer relationship management (CRM), order management, and inventory management systems.
      • Technical Leadership: You will possess deep knowledge of telecom product catalog frameworks, standards, and protocols. You should have expertise in working with telecom-specific technologies, such as TM Forum's Information Framework (SID), eTOM, OSS/BSS systems, APIs, and integration patterns. Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices. Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders to drive successful solution implementations.
      • Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business and technical requirements, identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies. Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with the product offering catalog.
      • Solution Implementation: You will oversee the implementation of the product offering catalog solution, working closely with development teams to ensure the architecture is correctly implemented, integrated, and tested.
      • Solution Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including solution designs, interface specifications, data models, and system integration guidelines. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
      • Stakeholder Management: You will engage with stakeholders at various levels, including business executives, IT managers, and technical teams. You will communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, influencing decision-making and gaining buy-in for the proposed solutions.

      • Proven experience as a Solution Architect in the telecom domain, preferably with exposure to product offering catalog systems.
      • Strong knowledge of telecommunications concepts, including network infrastructure, service provisioning, and billing systems.
      • Expertise in designing scalable and robust solutions, considering factors such as performance, reliability, and security.
      • Proficiency in system integration techniques, including API design, messaging protocols, and data transformation.
      • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as TM Forum's eTOM and SID models.
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex requirements and propose effective solutions.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
      • Experience in vendor management and the ability to evaluate and select suitable solutions from external vendors.
      • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments is a plus.

      Order Management
