What you’ll do

We have an exciting opportunity for a Telecommunications Field Engineer based in Auckland. Within this role you will provide technical, field and administration support in relation to the management and performance of all Telecommunications and signal controls within the Auckland Metro and greater area. You will ensure technical problems are rectified in an efficient and effective manner to improve telecommunications and equipment performance.

You will be responsible for the technical oversight of telecommunications/signalling control systems work within Auckland Metro and will ensure the work in completed on time, within budget and accordance with technical standards.

What you’ll need

• Experience in Telecommunications at a senior technical level
• Engineering Analysis and asset database experience
• Expertise in replacement of asset strategies
• Strong experience in managing budget or project costs
• Basic working knowledge of NZ employment and health and safety legislation
• Understanding of a Zero Harm culture and what that means for the organisation, our people, the community, and environment
