What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a patient advocate and point of contact for care recommendations
- Support patient experience from preadmission through the continuum of care
- Coordinate admissions appointments and assist with paperwork completion
- Maintain communication with patients and facilitate internal transfers between sites
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency with computers and software platforms, including EMRs
- Knowledge of medical/psychiatric/chemical dependency diagnosis and treatment processes
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in outpatient scheduling for Opioid Use Disorder
- Familiarity with managed care and Joint Commission standards
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to influence and provide guidance within a team setting
- A calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
