      In-House Cardiac Monitoring Technician

      Location: San Jose, CA

      Schedule: Full-time / Onsite

      Overview

      We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Cardiac Monitoring Technician to join our in-house team. This role involves real-time ECG rhythm interpretation and direct communication with healthcare professionals and patients to support the timely delivery of clinically significant cardiac data. Ideal candidates will be certified in rhythm analysis and possess excellent communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.


      Key Responsibilities

      • Interpret and evaluate ECG data with accuracy, ensuring appropriate documentation and escalation per protocol
      • Communicate effectively with clinicians and patients via phone to support data interpretation and reporting
      • Prepare and deliver timely notification reports, daily monitoring updates, and final summaries at the end of device use
      • Collaborate with clinical leadership on complex rhythm cases before issuing notifications
      • Maintain adherence to departmental quality benchmarks and performance metrics
      • Follow all internal protocols, workflows, and documentation requirements
      • Support general team operations and perform additional tasks as assigned


      Qualifications

      Education & Certifications

      • High School Diploma or GED required
      • Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) certification required
      • Completion of a formal ECG rhythm analysis training program preferred


      Experience

      • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in ECG analysis or cardiac monitoring preferred


      Skills & Competencies

      • Strong foundational knowledge of cardiac rhythms and medical terminology
      • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure in a fast-paced call center setting
      • Technically proficient in using proprietary software systems and standard office tools
      • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
      • Flexible to work extended hours or overtime as needed
