      We are seeking a Graduate Recruiter to manage all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle and support the firm's recruitment strategy for Graduates. The Recruiter works closely with the Graduate Recruitment Manager, providing support at all stages of the process from advertising, receiving applications and go to market strategy, to offering and closing out offers. The Recruiter works to develop strong networks with universities, schools and competitors along with the EY Recruiter community.

      People responsibilities

      • Contribute to people initiatives, head office projects, running school/ university workshops working with peers
      • Maintain professional knowledge, develop skills on an ongoing basis
      • Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

      Experience and skills requirements

      • Deliver recruitment and selection activities covering the recruitment lifecycle, for Graduates at the Johannesburg office and regions where required from time to time
      • Develop strong relationships with students and university lecturers
      • Support recruitment processes, consulting on sourcing strategies designed to secure the best candidates
      • Full candidate management including interviewing and testing, reflecting the entire process using Taleo
      • Meet monthly recruitment targets
      • Promote the firm's strategy of direct hiring through use of online sites and promoting vacancies through other appropriate channels
      • Promote referrals
      • Conduct and coordinate Assessment Centers where required
      • Develop wide external networks, represent EY at university and business school careers events or job fairs
      • Actively participate in internal HR network activities;

      Additional skills requirements

      • Professional Services recruitment delivery experience
      • Recruitment experience
      • Recruitment best practice and providing regular market intelligence
      • Experience using Taleo or similar recruitment management system
      • Strong organizational, people management and project management skills
      • Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
      • Able to work under pressure through constant changes
      • Fluent in English
      • The ability to thrive within a fast-paced, professional services environment
      • Strong administrative skills

      To qualify, candidates must have:

      • A bachelor's degree, or equivalent
      • At least 2 years work experience
      • A background in professional services recruitment
      • An exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing high-quality results
      • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills
      • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail
      • Ability to work with teams in different offices and promote teamwork
      • Flexibility to accommodate different personalities and professional work styles as well as changing work environments/priorities
      • PC proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
      • Willingness and ability to travel minimally, if required
