A PSSW contributes to AHF by helping our patient population receiving HIV/AIDS medical care at our Tacoma Healthcare Center (HHC) achieve their optimal self. The PSSW addresses the emotional and mental health needs of clients supporting them in their behavior change as well as linking them to community resources. The PSSW will offer support groups to foster community amongst clients as well as increase client coping skills and overall health/treatment knowledge.
A PSSW enhances the reputation of AHF by helping our patient population receiving HIV/AIDS medical care at our Tacoma Healthcare Center (HHC) achieve their optimal self. The PSSW addresses the emotional and mental health needs of clients supporting them in their behavior change as well as linking them to community resources. The PSSW will offer support groups to foster community amongst clients as well as increase client coping skills and overall health/treatment knowledge.

To be successful as a PSSW it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees.
AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
The PSSW will work as a part of a close-Knit team to enhance the patient experencae at the Tacoma HCC.
