Job Description

- Receive and Inspect: Welcome incoming materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring they match purchase orders and are free from damage.
- Organize and Store: Place items in designated locations, maintaining a neat and efficient warehouse.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of received items, including quantities and locations.
- Track and Monitor: Keep an eye on inventory levels and movements, ensuring everything is accounted for.
- Reconcile and Audit: Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to resolve discrepancies.
- Report Preparation: Generate reports on inventory levels and stock movements.
- Fulfill Requests: Respond to material requests and distribute items to the right departments or individuals.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure materials are delivered accurately and on time.
- Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
- Maintain Order: Keep the storage area clean and organized.
- Operate Equipment: Use material handling equipment as needed (training/certification may be required).
- Communicate Effectively: Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to address material needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math and computer skills, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Capable of lifting and moving materials.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles is a plus.
