  TEMP RESEARCH ASSISTANT
  
  We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Oligo Synthesis team. You will be responsible for preparing buffers and solutions, weighing out materials, keeping records. There will be a lot of opportunities to learn new skills in this environment. Your detail-oriented skills will be critical in succeeding in this role.
  
  Responsibilities
  
  

  • Execute purification processes to isolate and purify oligo nucleotides using various techniques, including, reverse-phase chromatography, and ion-exchange chromatography.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and purification instruments, ensuring their proper performance.
  • Analytical skills or experience in HPLC or working with nucleic acids is a bonus.
  • Prepare large volumes of buffers accurately and consistently.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of experimental data, and analysis results for quality control.
    
    

  Requirements
  
  

  • Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, or a related field. Or applicable experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Some lab experience. Be able to operate safely, cleanly, and accurately in a lab environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis and record-keeping, with good documentation practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with team members.
  • Works well in a fast-paced, and high-volume environment.

  The hourly pay scale for this position is $26.73/hour to $39.42/hour
