Title: Wave Operator
Job Purpose:
Set up, program and operate production machinery in the Concention Wave Solder / Selective Solder Area in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
* Set up, program and operate production machinery in the Concention Wave Solder / Selective Solder Area in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
* Reads and interprets Visual Aids and diagrams to select position and secure machinery.
* Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
* Utilize quality practices and procedures to assure that the assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured.
* Inspect PCB's for solder quality and cleanliness to ensure that process is compliant , Able to use Daze machine for inspection of solder fillet .
* Maintains a clean, neat and orderly area.
* Provide proper Maintenance for all Manufacturing equipment and update records as needed.
* Responsible for the quality and accuracy of own work.
* Works under the guidance of Process/Manufacturing Engineering.
* Compliance with hazardous chemical disposed and handling
Education and Experience:
* Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
* Familiarity with computers.
* Knowledge of Production machinery preferably (Wave Solder, Selective Solder, and Aqueous Cleaning)
* Able to lift lbs 20 and up and stand for regular 8 hours work.
* Must be available for OT and weekend work as required in addition to minimum 40 hr./wk.
* Ability to read and understand instructions in English
* High School diploma and or GED or equivalent work experience.
