What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide administrative support to the Director of the Cross-Cultural Center, including budget management and program coordination
- Manage daily office operations and maintain the Cross-Cultural Center's facilities
- Oversee the room reservation process and coordinate events and conferences
- Assist in maintaining the CCC website and support the programming staff with administrative needs
- Support the planning and execution of the monthly Wellness with Social Justice Series
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- 1-3 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with active listening and critical thinking abilities
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting and organizing administrative tasks
- Proficient in administrative procedures, word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a higher education environment or working with diverse populations
- Knowledge of leadership and diversity program development
- Ability to provide guidance and support to nonexempt personnel
- Familiarity with website maintenance and digital content management
