What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and respond to faculty inquiries in the central email inbox; collect and track required information for proposal preparation
- Support Senior Analysts in drafting and submitting grant and contract proposals, ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines and university policies
- Maintain accurate proposal records in tracking systems and assist with budget preparation and documentation
- Learn and apply pre-award research administration regulations, including NIH and other sponsor requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Maintains current knowledge of compliance regulations in all areas of research administration
- Knowledge of grant funding processes, procedures, and techniques
- Writing skills to draft persuasive text for a variety of audiences
- Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- 2 years of previous experience working with contracts and grants

- Familiarity with federal and state regulations related to research administration
- Experience with budget development and financial management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
