      Job Summary

      This is a Temporary Employee role at the entry level that will be responsible for tasks and projects across any of the enterprise’s business units within the Gas, Electric and LLC companies. This role will support the Human Relations (Labor and Employee Relations) department within Human Resources. May receive on-the-job training relevant to assigned department and business unit. Tasks and assignments will focus on one or more of the following: Employee and Labor Relations support, unemployment claims administration, data input and analytics.

      Key Accountabilities

      • Become oriented in the basics of the business unit and company
      • Communicate through basic presentational and report writing skills
      • Develop, revise and maintain Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations
      • Collaborate through basic problem-solving skills as they relate to the industry
      • Work with different team members and groups
      • Work safely and adhere to all safety programs

      Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

      HS Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 6 months of experience related to Human Resource generalist duties.

      Other Qualifications

      Preferred:

      • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources-related disciplines, e.g., Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial Psychology, etc. (excludes human and social services disciplines)
      • Experience in utility industry

      • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
      • Proficient verbal, nonverbal, written, and presentation skills.
      • Ability to organize work independently and to work in teams.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, primarily Excel and Word
      • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Time management, prioritization, and organization skills
      • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
