Job Description

- We are looking for individuals who can work safely in a manufacturing team environment.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age minimum. We require a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Exposure to high/low temperatures, noise, odors, dust, and chemicals
- Shoveling, sweeping, pushing, pulling, overhead work, lifting, handing high pressure hoses, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, squatting, and/or standing for long periods, etc.
- Working around industrial equipment
- Operation of powered industrial trucks such as fork trucks
- Confined space entry
The Somerset Mill located in Skowhegan, Maine is currently in the process of accepting applications for temporary full-time hourly general labor positions to help provide support Maintenance Services, Stores, and the Woodyard through the summer.
Successful candidates could expect to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm or 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights, 3 days/nights on then 3 days/nights off.
Length of employment: Approximately early June through mid-August.
Current rate of pay is $22 per hour.
