      Your role at Tumi:

      The Temporary Part-Time Junior Copywriter will capture and evolve the brand voice through creative storytelling. Supporting the current copywriter, you will craft clear and compelling copy, guided by strategy and seasonal concepts. You will also work hand in hand with a team of graphic designers to produce digital and print marketing assets in addition to supporting requests from PR, social, human resources and customer service.

      TUMI is in search of a big thinker who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and can work as well independently as they do in collaborative settings.

      • Write and edit marketing emails, site copy, product descriptions, social (organic & paid) as well as internal communications
      • Team with global partners to revise and approve international creative, ensuring a consistent brand voice across all markets
      • Work cross-functionally to produce content and maintain brand standards
      • Collaborate with graphic designers to conceptualize and execute 360 seasonal campaigns
      • Translate technical product information into creative, customer-facing language
      • Stay in the know on relevant industry trends, as well as the industries that inspire our brand

      Qualifications

      We're excited if you have:
      • 2+ years professional writing experience in-house, at an agency or in publishing
      • Luxury/retail experience preferred
      • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Advertising, Marketing, Creative Writing, Journalism (or comparable work experience)
      • A growing portfolio or clips that demonstrates creative thinking and a passion for storytelling
      • Eagle-eyed proofing skills, knowing every detail matters
      • Strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to art, design, graphics and typography
      • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
      • Resourceful, self-starter with strong planning and prioritization skills
      • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple timelines.
      • Experience in a global role is ideal but not required, working with international teams across initiatives.
      • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
