Job Description
- Req#: JR8747
- License Renewal: Ensure timely renewal of all license categories to avoid any operational disruptions.
- Regulatory Research: Stay informed on existing and new regulations affecting our operations, such as server ages, employee permit requirements, alcohol sales regulations, and more.
- License Management: Maintain and update our web-based license tracking system to ensure all records are current.
- Special Event Licensing: Obtain necessary licenses for restaurant special events as required.
- Communication: Liaise with management and government agencies to facilitate compliance and licensing needs.
- Legal Support: Assist with other legal tasks and special projects as assigned by the legal team.
- Experience: Previous administrative support experience required. Experience in a legal setting is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with Adobe Pro is preferred.
- Work Environment: Position is based in Scottsdale, AZ 85255. Work is in a hybrid remote work from home and on-site (2-3 days/week) at our corporate office combination.
- Temporary Role: This is a temporary position requiring regular and predictable attendance.
- Physical Requirements: Occasionally may need to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 20 pounds).
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Licensing Paralegal to support our Legal team. In this role, you will assist various departments including Development, Marketing, HR, and Operations with licensing and compliance for our store locations nationwide. You will be responsible for ensuring all licensing is up to date, researching legal requirements, and maintaining accurate records. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our restaurants and maintaining company compliance with legal standards.
