Job Description

The Parts Shipper/Receiver verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Assures proper control of parts inventory and related administrative functions.

This is a temporary full time position, with an expected duration of 4-6 weeks.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ship and receive all parts in an efficient manner.
• Assist in retrieving, loading, and unloading parts from parts van.
• Provide assistance to customers, the shop, drivers, and counter staff.
• Receive and record the movement of parts and stock to and from particular locations.
• Use the best method of shipment and arrange for pick-up and delivery.
• Prepare the appropriate paper work both manually and using the ADP/CDK system.
• Other parts related duties as they arise.

Requirements:

• Computer proficiency
• Clean and valid driver’s abstract
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Demonstrated customer service skills
