What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with financial planning and budgeting processes for the Cancer Center
- Process financial transactions and reimbursements accurately and efficiently
- Analyze financial statements and reports to support strategic management
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial activities at the Cancer Research Institute
- Exercise judgment to resolve financial issues within defined organizational policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and budgeting
- Familiarity with Excel, including basic pivot tables (intermediate preferred)
- Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to present information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with post-award/grant management
- Background in higher education finance
- Advanced Excel skills for complex financial analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills and service orientation
- Proven ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment
