The Temporary Research Assistant position will support an ongoing interview-based project in Sociology beginning Summer 2025. The position will be responsible for wide-ranging administrative and research tasks. Activities include, but are not limited to the following: attending weekly meetings with PI and other research assistants (Zoom conferencing), managing and cleaning 4 waves of Qualtrics survey data, conducting statistical analysis of survey data, designing and testing new survey questions, conducting qualitative phone interviews (up to 3 hours per interview, up to 5 per week), manually coding interviews using QDA software (Dedoose), and training undergraduate and graduate research assistants in these tasks. The position reports to the faculty PI for weekly tasks.About the company
