Emerson is looking for a Test and Evaluation Summer Intern for Summe r 2025 to join our McKinney, TX team. We are looking for someone who is interested in gaining real-world experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

      As a Test and Evaluation Engineering intern, you will provide technical input and direction to the design and evaluation of new product concepts. You will work in a team environment applying your knowledge of engineering principles and the physical sciences to develop new products.

      In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

      • Design and acquire required test equipment /fixtures from vendors
      • Conduct product evaluations
      • Setup and complete laboratory testing
      • Document tests conducted, results, problems encountered, and the solutions you developed
      • Participate in global multi-functional teams, including marketing, designers, manufacturing, sales and procurement
      • Complete other tasks as they are delegated

      For This Role, You Will Need:
      • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering
      • High Mechanical proficiency.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office
      • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
      • Commitment to full-time (40 hour) Summer Internship experience in McKinney, TX from June 2025 to August 2025
      • Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
      Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
      • Junior or Senior
      • Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aerospace Engineering or Agricultural Engineering preferred.
      • Previous internship or co-op experience in a professional environment
