Job Description
- Req#: 16081
- Drive the development of test & characterization tools & methods for next generation LED & Laser based digital photonic devices for automotive, fitness, security and augmented reality applications.
- Work with product development team to ensure on-time launch of complex “smart” electro-optical devices together with colleagues in Europe.
- Work with production & project team to support customer’s product performance requirements. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality improvement.
- Maintain an awareness of state of the art optical & electrical measurement technology & introduce new lab hardware & software solutions for RnD team.
- BSc/MSc Degree in Mechatronics / Electronic Engineering / Photonics / Physics
- min 3-5 year experience in the semiconductor / electronic field
- min 3-5 year experience in testing / characterization / automation programming
- Able to work in a team & carry out the assign task independently
- International exposure e.g. workshop with counterpart / attending conferences.
- LED / sensor Product knowledge in the area of electronics and/or semiconductors, candidate with IC testing experience will be preferred (advantest, DiamondX, NI PXI)
- Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), statistical process control & problem solving method
- LabView, teststand; Basic (B) Python, micro controller programming
- Clear communication and Interpersonal skill
- Creative & open minded for new opinions and inputs
