Our department is right in the middle of shaping the transformation: We are developing the components in the battery (apart from the cell) as well as the battery management system (BMS) – both in terms of hardware and function. Our aim is to provide products for Daimler Truck as a whole and to achieve maximum synergies.

We have also developed and managed close interfaces with all the departments involved as well as suppliers worldwide.

Our team:

• As a team, we are responsible for the HW of the battery management system (BMS) and the E/E components of the HV battery

• We work with state-of-the-art technologies and international project partners
  
• We communicate with each other on an equal footing and maintain an open and respectful relationship with each other and with our development partners

• With us, you will take on testing responsibility within the Battery Management System (BMS) as well as diverse and exciting tasks

• You can expect a dynamic environment with plenty of creative freedom

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• You will take responsibility for for setting up and operating BMS (battery management system) component test benches, as well as for the test program, conducting the tests and analyzing test data

• Together with the component developers, you developed the DVP (Design Validation Plan) for different components and subsystems of the BMS

• Together with the other test engineers, you will develop test strategies and methods for components and functions on test benches

• You will create and maintain timelines for the testing and manage the schedule according to the overall project timeline
  
• information obtained in meaningful test reports

• You provide important input and ideas for the further development of our BMS
  
• You report to the relevant committees

THAT’S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH

• Master degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics or similar major
  
• Several years of professional experience in testing of LV electronic control units and/or HV batteries in the automotive industry
  
• In-depth knowledge of test bench set-ups, DVPs (Design Validation Plan) and DoE (Design of Experiment)
  
• Very good analytical skills and the ability to create meaningful test reports
  
• High coordination and communication skills in exchange with a wide range of interface partners
  
• Ability to work in a team and cooperate in an international working environment
  
• Fluent German and English language skills
