  As a Test Engineer at Torch Technologies, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, working in laboratories at Redstone Arsenal. Your mission: to develop LabVIEW hardware interfacing software that supports foreign material exploitation (FME), hardware testing, and reverse engineering to characterize and assess the operation and performance of military hardware systems.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Create LabVIEW hardware interfacing software, pushing the boundaries of innovation.
  • Analyze hardware circuitry, functional diagrams, and schematics to develop cutting-edge tools and methods for system diagnostics.
  • Utilize LabVIEW for data acquisition, allowing us to gather critical information from a variety of sensors and instruments.
  • Employ LabVIEW for instrument control, providing the capability to interface with and control a range of sophisticated testing and measurement equipment.
  • Leverage LabVIEW's powerful signal processing and data analysis capabilities to extract valuable insights from collected data.

  What we’re looking for:

  • A subject matter expert in LabVIEW software development.
  • Familiarity with characterizations of foreign threat systems.
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude, and a passion for LabVIEW software and hardware interfacing.
  • Preferred candidates will bring weapon system analysis experience to the table, including expertise in:
    • Hardware reverse engineering, testing, or integration
    • Foreign threat systems
    • Analysis of surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems.

  Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
  • 5-8 years of applicable experience in hardware testing, design, or integration.
  • Experience in Army or Department of Defense-related fields is a plus.
  • Requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
