      This position is part of a 3-person technical resource team dedicated to operations engineering support for Wolf and Cove.

      Primary Responsibilities

      This position is responsible for developing and supporting test engineering hardware and software test technologies to help ensure our company builds a quality product. Other responsibilities for this position include the ability to assist or lead in the development, documentation, and build of manufacturing test equipment and processes, the set up and maintenance of the test engineering labs, and to provide troubleshooting support as needed to manufacturing line personnel.

      • Maintain and support production test systems/equipment
      • Find root cause and implement corrective actions for test equipment failure
      • Assist in troubleshooting and analyzing failed product (Customer or Internal failure) to determine root cause and drive for permanent corrective action.
      • Design, document, procure and construct production test equipment
      • Provide hardware panel layouts and wiring schemes for electrical systems
      • Specify and purchase test system and lab components or services
      • Provide documentation, training and troubleshooting assistance to operators working with production test equipment.
      • Organize and maintain Test Engineering labs.

      Required Qualifications:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Electrical basic understanding, ability to decipher technical manuals & drawings
      • Willingness to learn and the ability to work without a lot of instruction
      • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Associate degree in electrical engineering technology or related
      • 3-7 Years experience in a Manufacturing Quality / Test Engineering related field
      • On the job experience with Test Equipment
      • Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting of equipment (including electrical, hardware and software components)
      • Experience with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Suite
