Job Description

Manage the tester database, including adding new testers and updating testers’ profiles
Come up with creative ways to do outreach to find new testers who already have an interest in Dotdash Meredith brands
Create a tester assessment to gauge descriptive writing skills
Host training sessions for new testers to relay the importance of their insights, best practices for taking photos, and how their work will touch our content
Collaborate with R+T partners to assign out products to testers
Manage the sign up process for all tests, including matching existing testers to appropriate tests and doing new outreach
Work with the Inventory Manager on managing returns from testers
Work with operations to send out and renew tester contracts
Answer tester questions and keeps testers accountable to deadlines and deliverables
Strong communication and organizational skills
A self-starter who is comfortable working in a quickly changing environment
Proficiency in project management tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or Airtable
Comfortable working independently and prioritizing across multiple projects
Thrives on developing best practices and processes

As the Tester Coordinator on the Research + Testing team, you will support Dotdash Meredith’s product testing initiative to create meaningful product insights for our users in the form of original content. You will build a base of on-staff and freelance testers to test products at home for various brands, including PEOPLE, InStyle, Real Simple, Travel + Leisure, and The Spruce. You will help support the mission of our team by onboarding, communicating, and supporting testers throughout the testing period.

Pay Range
Salary: $42,000 - $60,000The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
