      About the role

      As a Fuel Cell Testing & Validation Technician (m/w/d), you will play a key role in building and managing test setups, executing test runs, analysing data, and maintaining testing equipment. Your hands-on expertise will directly contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Build and configure test setups, including mechanical and electrical connections for sensors and measuring equipment in liquid and/or gas media paths (pressurized and non-pressurized)
      • Establish and manage data acquisition systems, executing test runs on various test benches (manual interaction may be required)
      • Analyse test data and prepare detailed reports, including updates to wiring schematics and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram)
      • Perform auxiliary tasks such as maintenance, system improvements, and proactive troubleshooting

      Required Experience and Skills

      • Proven experience in testing and validation of complex technical systems, ideally in automotive environment
      • Basic understanding of physics (thermodynamics) and electronics
      • Knowledge of sensor principles and technologies
      • Debug and troubleshoot experience
      • Proficiency in data analysis and excellent reporting skills
      • Fluency in English is mandatory
      • Vector (CANoe, CANape, vTestStudio) and AVL Concerto software experience

      Optional Skills (Preferred)

      • Oscilloscope measurements
      • High Voltage (up to 1000Vdc) systems experience
        HV-3 training according to ÖVE R19 or 3E training according to DGUV 209-093 or similar
      • Gas handling (bottles, bundles, etc.) up to 300bar
      • Knowledge of fuel cell systems
      • Programming skills:
        • NI/LabVIEW programming
        • CAPL programming
        • AVL Concerto scripting

The minimum gross salary acc. to collective labor agreement (EEI) is planned at EUR 3.251,09 per month for 38,5 hours per week (14x p.a.), with a willingness to pay more for appropriate qualifications and experience.
