      Job Description Theatre Nurse / ODP - Scrub (RGN / ODP) Shrewsbury | Theatre | fixed-term contract - 12 months | Full Time Up to £34,000 per annum depending on experience 37.5 hours per week (Includes weekend work)

      Main duties of the job

      As a Theatre Nurse / ODP in scrub Be part of our close-knit multidisciplinary team Work with leading consultants and like-minded professionals who respect and value what you bring Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key

      About us

      Shrewsbury Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities. We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
