      Job Summary

      The Theatre Systems Implementation Analyst III is responsible for the physical installation, configuration, and preventative maintenance of in-theatre Point-of-Sale (POS) and personal computer (PC) equipment, including point of sale terminals, kiosks, printers, kitchen display systems, and related hardware. The analyst also manages remote software installations, configurations, troubleshooting support, and validation processes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring AMC theatre locations have the IT equipment installed, configured, and fully operational to support staff and enhance the guest experience.

      This is a remote-eligible position.

      What you’ll be doing:

      • Install and configure theatre system hardware and software, training and coordinating deployment teams to assist as needed.
      • Train internal and external support teams on system changes.
      • Conduct on-site or remote preventative maintenance and advanced troubleshooting of all theatre systems within assigned markets.
      • Facilitate AMC theatre openings and closures. For openings, install and test back-office and POS equipment. For closures, recover, decommission, and transfer valuable assets.
      • Support the Help Desk by resolving escalations within established service level agreements (SLAs) using the current ticketing system.
      • On-site resource for identifying, recording, decommissioning, and transferring unused hardware of value.
      What we need from you:
      • 5+ years of experience in IT-related positions.
      • 1+ years of experience in help desk or support-related positions.
      • Ability to stand for long periods during on-location Implementation Projects.
      • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
      • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
      • Proficiency using tools such as drills and hand tools for mounting, installing, and troubleshooting PC and POS hardware.
      • Ability to follow written deployment guides for the purpose of installing and configuring POS software.
      • Experience troubleshooting and repairing PC and POS hardware.
      • Experience resolving incidents through an incident management system.
      What we also value (preferred):
      • Bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT-related field.
      • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
      • Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to explain IT concepts to non-technical users.
      • Ability to design and implement structured processes for change management, installation, configuration, and production support.
      • Knowledge of Hyper-V and VMware vCenter hypervisor and centralized server management platform.
      • Experience using endpoint management software to deploy and validate POS applications.
      • Analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose, document, and resolve system issues.
      • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to assist theatre management teams both in person and remotely.
      • Advanced Knowledge of AMC-specific theatre POS hardware solutions, configuration, and troubleshooting
      • Ability to execute, document, and train others on technical implementation processes for hardware and software deployments.

      Compensation Information

      AMC provides a compensation range for open positions where required. Factors that may be used to determine actual compensation may include, but are not limited to, specific skill-set, relevant experience or geographic location. The compensation range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets based on business needs.

      The base salary for this position is: $55,000 to $70,000. This position is also eligible for an incentive opportunity.

      Minimum Job Requirements

      • 5+ years of experience in IT-related positions.
      • 1+ years of experience in help desk or support-related positions.
      • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
