Do you love the magic of theatre and want to bring it to life?
Central School District is seeking a passionate and skilled Auditorium Manager to join our
dynamic theatre department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the
technical aspects of our theatre, ensuring that every event is a resounding success.Responsibilities
Lighting
? Set up, operate, and maintain lighting equipment, including spotlights, dimmers, and
control consoles.
? Design and execute lighting plots based on director’s vision.\Troubleshoot and repair
lighting equipment.Sound
? Set up, operate, and maintain sound equipment, including microphones, speakers, and
mixing consoles.
? Mix sound for rehearsals and performances, including live music, pre-recorded tracks,
and sound effects.
? Troubleshoot and repair sound equipment.Technical Support
? Assist with the set construction, rigging, and stage management.
? Supervise student technicians and provide training.
? Maintain a clean and organized theatre space.Collaboration
? Work closely with directors, teachers, and students to ensure seamless technical
execution.
? Contribute creative ideas and problem-solving solutions to enhance productions/events.Requirements
Technical Skills
? Demonstrated proficiency in lighting and sound equipment operation, including console
operation, DMX control, and audio mixing.
Technical Knowledge
? Sound understanding of theatrical/event lighting and sound design principles.
Communication Skills
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively
with students, faculty, and other staff
Problem Solving
? Resourceful and adaptable problem-solving skills
Safety
? Commitment to safety protocols and best practice within the theatre environment.
Teamwork
