      Prince William County Community Services is looking for a committed mental health professional to provide administrative and clinical supervision within the ACESS team. The ACCESS team is the point of service entry for Community Services that has adopted the Same Day Access Model (SDA). We are seeking qualified applicants to fill our full-time ACCESS Therapist IV (Clinical Services Case Management Manager) position.

      This position qualifies for a hiring bonus of $5,000. This bonus will be paid in two equal installments as funds permit. The first installment of $2,500 is payable upon the County’s first regular pay date following your position start and the final $2,500 installment will be payable on the pay date following the completion of probation.

      About This Role:
      You will
      • Provide supervision of the day-to-day operations of the ACCESS clinic that include the management of the clinic’s schedule
      • Review referral documentation of complex clients
      • Provide clinical support to administrative and clinical staff.
      • You will provide administrative and clinical supervision, evaluation of ACCESS therapists, administrative staff, and patient navigators
      • You will assist the ACCESS Program Manager with the hiring, coaching, training, and mentoring of clinical and administrative staff
      • You will consult with other Community Services programs and community agencies to facilitate referrals and service provision for clients requiring multiple services.

      Minimum Requirements:
      • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral science field.
      • Must possess an unrestricted LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the Commonwealth of Virginia
      • 3-4 years of supervisory experience
      • 5-6 years of experience in the delivery of human services to adults and youth in a Mental Health, Substance Abuse, or Emergency Services outpatient program.

      Preferences:
      To be successful you will need to have:
      • Experience providing administrative and clinical supervision to clinical and administrative staff
      • Experience providing clinical services to clients with serious mental illness, SMI, and/or clients diagnosed with a substance use disorder
      • Experience conducting comprehensive assessments, mental health/substance abuse screenings to include the Columbia-Suicide Severity screening, ASAM, and make initial diagnosis
      • Experience with formulating diagnoses for clients with acute, chronic, severe mental illness
      • Experience evaluating risk and implementing crisis management plans
      • Experience collaborating with internal and external partners and across systems
      • Experience using Electronic Behavioral Health Record
      • Experience working in a team environment and/or with shared clients
      • Eligible to provide clinical supervision towards licensure
      • Experience with computer software, e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

      Special Requirements:
      Must possess a valid driver's license;
      Must pass DMV record check;
      Must pass TB test;

      Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprinted-based national criminal history record check.

      Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglect maintained by the Department of Social Services.


      Work Schedule:
      Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

      Starting Salary Range:
      $88,939.50 - $118,862.25
