      Position Role Type:

      Raytheon is seeking a Third-Party Logistics Specialist to support the third-party logistics (3PL) facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The 3PL operations support the Raytheon factory located in El Segundo, CA. This role will require the individual work onsite at the Santa Fe Springs location and be a direct point of contact for ensuring Key Performance Indicators are being met and identify opportunities to exceed established metrics in partnership and support of the facility.

      Primary Responsibilities Include:

      • Work with Raytheon factory representatives to ensure support is in alignment with contractually stated expectations.
      • Collaborate with all relevant parties to identify improvement opportunities, reduce waste, ensure compliance, and support key strategic initiatives.
      • Perform strategic and tactical responsibilities.
      • Communicate with all levels of the organization throughout several different locations.
      • Monitor and approve invoices and support the review of financial budgets.
      • Participate in and lead business reviews on a regular cadence.
      • Prepare content and conduct ad hoc business meetings as needed.
      • Monitor and ensure 3PL compliance to Statement of Work, work instructions, and all Raytheon requirements and standards.
      • Understand and support key strategic initiatives.
      • Support activities that promote continual improvement to provide deliverables that exceed contractual obligations.
      • Constant communication with key business partners
      • Assist 3PL on operation planning and cost reduction activities.
      • Serve as liaison between Raytheon factory and 3PL operations.
      • Monitor financial budgets and have oversight of invoicing.
      • Ensure 3PL compliance to Statement of Work, work instructions, and all Raytheon requirements and standards.

      Required Experience and Skills:

      • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
      • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
      • Demonstrated people management/leadership skills, experience engaging large teams throughout various locations.
      • Experience working within a factory, warehouse, or 3PL environment.
      • Microsoft office use.
      • Willingness to travel domestically 10% of time.

      Desired Qualifications:

      • Experience with Materials, Operations, or Logistics
      • Demonstrate leadership in the absence of formal organizational reporting structure.
      • SAP Knowledge in Warehousing
      • APICS certification
      • Data Analytics and Project Management experience

      Education:

      A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

      The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

      Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

      This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
