  Overview:

  Completes a variety of standard, repeatable duties to support third-party risk activities and compliance with applicable internal policies.

  Location: This position will work remotely within the United States.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and answer routine, in bound inquiries to the Third-party Risk Management department.
  • Follow up in a timely and accurate manner on issues discovered via the Third-party Risk Management program.
  • Contact Third-party risk stakeholders to close out past due items related to Third-party Risk.
  • Edit and update the Bank’s system of record for the Third-party Risk Management program
  • Pull standardized reporting from the system of record for M&T's Third-party Risk Management program and format in Excel.
  • Perform day-to-day quality reviews regarding the Third-party risk management program.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

  Education and Experience Required:

  Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year’s work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 year’s work experience

  Comfortability in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups)
